
7. You can’t play Powerball in Vegas
Nevada (the country’s largest gambling state) does not have Powerball. There are only 5 other states that don’t participate in the Powerball lottery: Alaska, Hawaii, Alabama, Mississippi, and Utah. Reasons range from religious (Alabama, Mississippi and Utah) to practical matters of population density (I’m looking at you, Alaska).

Most participating states require winners to come forward publicly. 6 don’t: Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina. Good luck staying hidden with that kind of money. This guy’s trying, though:
