9. Independence Plaza

Independence Plaza, part of the Space Center Houston (Texas), will open in late January 2016.

Visitors will be able to enter the shuttle replica Independence, which is mounted on top of the historic and original NASA 905 shuttle carrier aircraft, as well as explore the complex’s many other attractions.
