7. The Lorax was his favorite book
The Lorax was Dr. Seuss’ personal favorite, because it allowed him to address important economic and environmental issues without being dull. He once said that “The Lorax came out of me being angry. In The Lorax I was out to attack what I think are evil things and let the chips fall where they might.”
In 2012 the book was turned into a computer-animated 3D musical fantasy comedy film starring Danny Devito, Betty White, and Taylor Swift.
