Pluto has been visited by one spacecraft: The New Horizons spacecraft flew by Pluto in 2015 and took a series of photos and recorded other measurements.
Interestingly, because of it distance from the sun (approximately 5,945,900,000 km), sunlight on Pluto has the same intensity as moonlight on Earth.

Another fun fact: Disney’s Pluto the dog debuted in the same year the former planet was discovered (1930), but contrary to popular belief, the dog was named after Pluto instead of the other way around.
