2. Fast delivery, but at a cost
In the 1980’s, Domino’s had to drop its guarantee of delivery within 30 minutes. The promise of quick pizza led to so many fatal car crashes that their driver death rate was compared to miners and construction workers.
The company was successfully sued for $78 million by a woman who had been hit by a Domino’s driver in 1989.
