7. Three dots
The Domino’s Pizza logo originally had three dots to represent each of the chain’s three stores in 1965. Co-founder Tom Monaghan had planned to add a new dot to the logo with the addition of every new store. The chain quickly outgrew this idea; by 1978 there were more than 200 stores nationwide.
Today, there are more than 10,000 Domino’s Pizzas worldwide. That would be a crowded logo!
