3. Return of the Jedi – Max Rebo’s new sound

A new musical number at Jabba’s palace: Max Rebo’s band originally performs “Lapti Nek,” a funky little disco tune that recalls aspects of the famous cantina scene from the original movie, just before Jabba casts Oola into the rancor’s den.

In the Special Edition version, this is replaced with an extended musical comedy number, “Jedi Rocks,” that has a more rock and roll feel and horrible new CG characters. Of course music and comedy are both highly subjective so you be the judge:
