1. Return of the Jedi – Hayden Christensen’s force ghost
At the end of Return of the Jedi, after the battle for Endor has been won and the Empire defeated, Luke is able to see the spirits of his fallen masters, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin, giving him nods of approval for a job well done.
In the Special Edition version of the film Lucas replaces the the actor who originally played Darth Vader during his death scene (Sebastian Shaw) for Hayden Christensen, who was currently occupying the role of the young Jedi.
The biggest problem here is continuity. Shouldn’t we also see young versions of Yoda and Obi-Wan? Would Luke even recognize this young guy as his father? It just totally takes you out of the moment.
